This may have been a false alarm.
There was an update to Mavericks waiting in the app store and after a restart, things seem to be normal again. Fingers crossed.

OS X 10.9 - i2M not showing up in AudioMIDI setup
Are there any known problems with OS X 10.9?
I upgraded ot 10.9, and the i2M no longer shows up in AudioMIDI setup, and no audio programs are receiving MIDI from it. It does, however, show up in the i2M musicport editor, and the MIDI IN light does light up in the editor. Any ideas?

Re: i2M Sending simultaneous Note ON and Note OFF events
That's brilliant, and many thanks to you, James! James was incredibly responsive in fixing this problem, and I got some of the fastest service I've ever had from any music tech company, ever. My impression is that Sonuus clearly have real commitment to making their gear the best it possibly can be. ...

Re: Feature request - process audio via USB
Is this still true if the sample rate is locked? Is it not possible to use one device as a master clock, or do you need to have something like an AES link to do that?
I'll happily experiment with anything you send me Cheers, thanks for the feedback.

Re: i2M Sending simultaneous Note ON and Note OFF events
I think I tried that. Let me try again... Yes, that does appear to make a difference. So I tried setting note extend to 4ms - that seems to be the lowest value it will accept - and once again notes with no duration are produced. The reason I want note extend is to trick the synth into playing legato...

Yes, I only have one zone active. Attached is a screenshot of how the software is set up.

Re: Feature request - process audio via USB
I would not mind at all losing the audio input while the i2M was in this mode. In any case, I wouldn't be using it's audio input while it was in this mode. Here's my use case: I have a high end audio interface (Metric Halo) and I have several instruments connected to it while playing live. I want to...

Re: Melodic minor scales
In Jazz, we only call your ascending scale the Melodic minor. Your descending scale is an Aeolian minor. Adding notes from the Aeolian minor to the Melodic minor would be a bad idea, unless you call it something else - 'classical melodic minor', maybe...

Feature request - process audio via USB
This may not be technically feasible, but it's something I want to do with my i2M, so I want to ask if it can be added as a feature. I would like to be able to send audio from my computer via USB to the i2M, and have it send MIDI back. I find myself wanting to process audio that is streaming through...

i2M Sending simultaneous Note ON and Note OFF events
Hello. First of all, I bought an i2M just a couple of weeks ago, and I'm really happy I did. It's pretty good! I have a problem, though. Have a look at the attached screenshot of the MIDI stream from the i2M. You can see that each time I play a note the i2M is sending a NOTE ON immediately followed ...
