Can someone recommend a current Mac laptop model that works very well with GarageBand and the i2m? I can't spend a lot on the high end Mac's, but what about the Mini Mac laptops? Anyone using one?

The Mac is quite expensive compared to a Windows unit. I have the i2M and really only want to utilize good upright acoustic bass tones from my electric bass for libe gigs. So basically I should first connect the i2m to my laptop (windows7), than the Sonuus menu for setup will allow me to set it to a 4 string bass setting, (that's what I play). Now I can take the i2m and connect it to an Apple I Pad via the USB adapter and that's it. I'll run the Garage Band on the iPad.

Thanks, this video shows me the way. However can I run the software for Garage Band on an Apple tablet? Has anyone done this with the i2M?
