Found the solution! I turned on the microphone access in the iOS settings > privacy.

just installed G2M, and I am experiencing the exact same issue. No audio response. My IRig, Apogee Jam, and ioDock work fine with all of my other 20+ audio apps. I am using an iPad2 with iOS7. I did initially select 'No' when asked permission to access my microphone. This may be the issue. How can I...
