Okay, thanks for clarifying. People on another forum have suggested that the problem is probably with the specific adapter that I got (one of the $5 ones on Amazon), so now I just need a way to verify that and then replace it...

So a MIDI-to-USB adapter is useless to me then? Is there anything that will work to let me record on a computer that doesn't have a MIDI input built in?james wrote:Do you mean by using a MIDI-to-USB adapter?
This isn't possible inside the G2M because the hardware doesn't support USB.
