James, thanks for the reply. I did notice that the higher notes were slightly less latent. I guess my next option would be to try it with a higher tuning i.e. tenor or piccolo and tune the synth down an octave.

Has anyone tried this? I'm getting latency at about 40 ms which renders the G2M virtually unusable for what I want to do.
