Re: Not Working In Live 9 and Reason 8 on Mac .. until ..
Hi David, Are you trying to delete the i2M device whilst your DAW is still open? Try disconnecting the i2M - open MIDI Studio and you should see the i2M icon in grey. You should be able to click on it and hit 'backspace' (i.e. delete). What i2M firmware are you running? Are you able to see the i2M u...

Re: New user help - midi not received by mac.
Hi Terry, You don't need a driver for the B2M. As you seem to be getting indication of MIDI communication between the B2M and your TASCAM interface, it sounds like the problem is between the TASCAM and your Mac. Do you have 'Midi Monitor' : http://www.snoize.com/MIDIMonitor/ This is a useful app - i...

Re: Will This Work with Roland TD-8
Hi KC,
Doesn't the TD-8 have a MIDI out port? Can't you just connect that directly to a USB-MIDI cable?
John.

Re: Will This Work with Roland TD-8
Sorry for the late reply. Can you explain how you want to use the i2M? Are you wanting to trigger sounds from the TD-8 from your acoustic kit? The i2M is a USB interface so it can't drive the MIDI DIN that the TD-8 has. You would need to use a G2M or B2M for this but they are designed to work with p...

Re: No Audio unless finished recording
Hi.
If you are getting audio when not recording, it sounds like the i2M is working ok and maybe this is a Logic setup problem. As a quick test, could you try it in GarageBand just using GarageBand's built in settings rather than an aggregate device? Do you audio all the time there?

Re: i2M disappointment
Hi, Can you send an example recording/MIDI file of where you see problems and we can advise? I use the i2m regularly and am confident in the way it tracks, but you do need to be aware of several things in order to get the best response and it does require some adjustment to playing technique also. S...

Re: i2m to ableton live
Hi, not quite sure what you mean by synced? The i2M provides a standard USB MIDI port to the computer so you should be able to play into Ableton using the i2M and a guitar/bass/voice.
John.

Re: New Guy. And of course a question.
Hello and welcome to the forum. From a quick look at the GR-1 manual (which I found on the Roland US website), it looks like you may need to change the MIDI receive channels on the GR-1 parts. The G2M transmits on MIDI channel 1 (this can not be changed) and the GR-1 default receive channels are lis...

Re: i2m on Violin
Regarding the latency, what delay do you think you are seeing? In the violin range, there should be no issue with this and I suspect there is something else in the chain that is causing a delay. In the latest version of the i2M software there is a latency test mode to allow you to determine the late...

Re: Sonuus G2M Pitch Bend Issue
Hi Mike, When you switch to chromatic mode, the G2M doesn't generate pitch-bend messages. When using non-chromatic mode we recommend to set your synth module (or software) to have a pitch-bend range of +/-2 semitones as this sounds the most natural. Depending on your module this may be a global thin...
