Re: Hardware requirements?

I saw G2M DEMO on youTube: First - IT REQUIRES DRIVERS because in e.g. this sample GUITAR + SONUUS G2M = GUITARSYNTH they used it via their hardware which already has installed drivers. It means your site missed vital information - G2M won't work with your computer if it is not connected to a MIDI d...

Re: Hardware requirements?

There is no two-way communication between the G2M and a computer so the computer won't recognise the G2M automatically. It is not a computer peripheral and doesn't need drivers etc. Then, in my opinion, it is not possible to use the G2M and computer together because there is no way it can recognize...

Re: Hardware requirements?

Let's make it clear - if I will buy the MIDISPORT 1x1 - 1-In/1-Out USB Bus-Powered MIDI Interface or M-Audio Midisport USB Uno Sound card , then I can connect the G2M to my computer, where Sibelius 5 will recognize the G2M as an input device = I can type notes using an electric guitar. Am I correct?...

Hardware requirements?

What are hardware requirements for G2M?

For example, I have M-Audio Ozone Academic and Sibelius 5 - can I use G2M with it or I need something like Roland GI-20?

Can I just plug it in a computer via USB (direct connection for Sibelius 5)?

System requirements?

Re: Voice-to-MIDI files

It would be nice if your company would help composers/artists to replace typing with their own voice for notation software, like Sibelius, Finale, etc. For me - the option "voice-to-notes" would be the best solution. I think I am not alone. Thus, R&D about "voice-to-notes" sh...

Re: Polyphonic MIDI?!

Of course absolute zero-latency is not possible in the meaning of absolute. I am talking about the practical meaning of zero-latency. For example, who will notice a delay if it is less than 1/3,000,000 sec? I told you that the best solution is pretty simple (just hardware) and with the help of moder...

Re: Voice-to-MIDI files

Did you try it?

I mean can you state that G2M is a no headache solution to Voice-to-MIDI?

If I will sing in tune - will G2M always recognize the notes, or not really? What is the accuracy percentage with the enabled BOOST?

Re: Polyphonic MIDI?!

When two tones are close together in frequency, they anyway can be easily distinguished without a PC. I saw it was done by a boy about 40 years ago... Of course his device had ZERO latency and worked accurately... It's the matter of the algorithm, not physics - just make it VERY simple... (to elimin...

Re: Polyphonic MIDI?!

I don't see a problem here - all you need is to combine in one G2M device... 27 (frets) x 6 (strings) current simplified G2M-like modules to recognize each note and a one transpose feature for a bass guitar. Well, if you will add here a little computer - you can convert to MIDI all the guitar techni...

Voice-to-MIDI files

Can I use G2M to convert - Voice-to-MIDI (particularly to Sibelius 5)?

If it is not possible by default - how to make it possible?
