Re: Compatibility with iPad MIDI / Audio
Currently we don't have an iPad 2 but from googling this, I found that a few people are asking the same question but with USB audio hardware other than the i2M. One person suggested that unplugging/replugging the USB audio with Garage Band open would cause it to switch from using the internal mic to...

Re: i2M musicport logo flashes red constantly
It's very strange that the audio appears but not the MIDI. If you are happy using the Control Panel/Device Manager, it may be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the device. Here is how: Connect the i2M Open the Control Panel and then open the 'System Properties'. Select the Hardware tab and open th...

Re: Audio comparison to Apogee Jam
The i2M musicport can be used as an audio input and a MIDI input device simultaneously. The audio input is clean and lower noise than some competitors that we compared against during development. The Apogee interface sounds like it may be higher quality due to the 24-bit interface but we don't have ...

Re: i2M musicport logo flashes red constantly
Hi,
It sounds like the firmware has been corrupted due to it disconnecting during the update. Does the firmware updater recognise the unit ok? Can you try to re-apply the firmware update?
One possibility might be that the button is stuck down - can you check this also?

Re: Midi device not found
Hi, A couple of things to check - * If you use the i2M's audio interface (as opposed to the MIDI interface) in your software, do you get some signal from your guitar? * If you increase the volume of the pre-amp (via the i2M Editor), and play your guitar hard, does the i2M LED flash RED to indicate c...
