Re: its not working (no sound)
The i2M musicport software is only for configuring the i2M. It does not provide audio or synthesizer sounds. You will need some form of audio software to work with the i2M.

Re: Multiple I2M on same system
Hi Utensil, having thought about this a bit more, there should be plenty of bandwidth available over a hi-speed (480Mbit/s) hub/usb port connection. I'll try and set it up here..

Re: Multiple I2M on same system
To answer your first question regarding the editor, we considered adding a drop-down menu to select the active i2M but I can see that sending the same settings to multiple units would also be useful. Regarding the hex pickup, this should be possible but we haven't tried it in practice. With a 4-port...

Re: Best way to work with my software and Midi interface.
Either option would work. The B2M might be a little easier to set up (and a bit cheaper) but the i2M is much more configurable and gives you more creative options with the MIDI setup.

Re: Multiple I2M on same system
Yes, you are correct in your description. Each i2M remembers its settings.
We hope to add multiple device support to the editor in the not-too-distant future.

Re: its not working (no sound)
Hi,
What audio software are you using with the i2M.(e.g. something like Cubase, Ableton etc.) ?
When you say 'no sound is coming out' do you mean no guitar sound from the i2M or no MIDI is received.. (or both) ?

Re: Multiple I2M on same system
It is possible to use multiple i2Ms at the same time. As far as the o/s is concerned it just creates separate audio and MIDI ports for each device. However, there is currently a restriction with the editor software in that it will only work with one i2M at a time and, if multiple i2Ms are connected,...

Re: i2M musicport ASIO vs my existing ASIO driver?
Hi Brian, ASIO is only a PC thing, not Mac. What happens with the audio when you use the aggregated audio driver? We don't have an 828 here to try with. If you set the 828 to 48kHz does it make any difference? As a quick test, can you try using garageband assuming you have it installed - this lets y...

Re: i2M always triggers a semitone below! Help!!
Can you (or EddieG) provide us with more detailed information on the issue? If you can send a recording of the audio and the associated MIDI file showing the problem that would be good for us to analyze. In the meantime, a few questions/thoughts : Are you using chromatic mode or non-chromatic mode? ...

Re: Editing via iPad or with MIDI
With the latest version of the i2M musicport software, you can change the preset via MIDI program change but the i2M musicport doesn't currently support changing other parameters via MIDI though it is something we could consider. For an iPad app, Apple currently doesn't allow programmers access to t...
