Re: i2M always triggers a semitone below! Help!!
Sorry - you're right.. I did misread them! Are you running in chromatic or non-chromatic mode?
It sounds like a tuning issue, but if it does it on all notes then maybe something else is not right. Can you send us a recording/MIDI file and we'll take a look?

Re: Garageband does not recognize i2M musicport
Hi,
You shouldn't need any driver for the i2M in OSX. We use the i2M with GarageBand all the time. If you run the Audio Midi Setup utility, does it appear there? Is the LED on the i2M green (or orange) when it is connected?

Hi Eddie,
Can you record the audio and MIDI together? This way we can run the audio through our analysis code to see if there's a reason the i2M thinks the initial attack of the note is an octave too low. Please email your files to support@sonuus.com.

Re: i2M always triggers a semitone below! Help!!
Hi Eddie, Are you saying you get a small 'glitch an octave below before the note jumps to the correct one? Does it do this across the complete range of the bass? Does it make any difference whether you set the unit into 4-string/5-string or guitar mode? Could you record the audio/MIDI output of the ...

Re: mac crashes on usb plugin
That is very strange. It may be you have a faulty i2M. Do you have access to another computer to try it on? One other thing worth trying - hold down the button on the i2M and connect to your Mac - does this also crash the Mac? You should see the LED on the i2M flash red to indicate it is in update m...

Re: Firewire question
I presume you have a USB port on your Macbook. That's all you need to connect an i2M. There is no benefit to converting from firewire to USB.
