No, nothing special. Guitar to Jack IN and MIDI OUT to A01 MIDI IN.
By default A-01 it listens to all channels, check system settings or do factory reset. To be sure also install latest firmware.

iOS 10.2? // how do algos compare to G2M box?
James,
got the hardware box already. Discovered app, but afraid to try in iOS 10.2.
Also, how do the algorithms compare to the latest revision of the box? For guitar AND bass, please.
Thank you and kind regards,
CaB
PS: the box is soooo great!!!

G2M: wow! and how does it compare to iOS app?
James, I received a G2M latest revision through your Black Friday sales... It is absolutely stunning, depending on the synh/preset you use. At the moment, I'm having such fun playing a Roland A-01 with it, unbelievable... Now since a week I own an iPad, got a few soft synths and all and will try the...

Re: USB MIDI
Thanks, I did not know about the bank select which is currently not possible in my setup with my minimal MIDI Program Change switcher (Midi Mouse)... Good that we talked.
Have to take look into the setlist mode then. Any obvious limitiations of that mode in functionality?
Cheers, CaB

Switching instrument type - automation or preset storage?
Recently, I acquired a bass. I've been using Wahoo and Voluum with guitar and synth so far (synth just for proof of concept, to be explored further by my son). Now I was wondering if there is (or could be added in the future) an option for switching the global custom setting "int" (for ins...

Re: USB MIDI
In my case, I need the Wahoo to be able to receive program changes via MIDI, to change presets. James, does it actually accept PC messages for changing presets? Anywho, I found this here at hobbytronics and will try it, looks promising and very affordable, compared to the professional solutions by K...

Re: Desktop Editor - Virus Warning by Chrome and Totalvirus
Good morning James, thank you for reassuring us. I would have thought so, but better safe than sorry. In the above link it is mentioned which of the 55 antivirus products on virustotal.com gives the false positive... But also Google with its Chrome browser also reported it as potentially harmful whe...

Re: Wahoo and Midi In Pedalboard Environment
A year after, let me hijack this thread. This looks promising, esp. pricewise: http://www.hobbytronics.co.uk/usb-midi-converter?keyword=usb%20midi James, sure that wouldn't fit? hee hee Id love to get and build one, as I need to control presets from a midi switcher. Darn shipping fees ro the mainlan...
