Re: make a .mid track
If I understand correctly, you want to save a midi file using the i2M. Set up a new track as a "software/midi instrument" in your sequencer program, and use your bass and i2M to record into this sequencer program track. This should record the midi data being generated by the i2M, which can...

Creating chordal accompaniment for flute/sax/etc
Hi I have figured out, how to only trigger certain notes in a scale, by working out which scale has the note or notes you want. To do this, set up zones using "Scale" and "Gap" (Using a Pentatonic scale makes it slightly easier), but you have to know your scales, and this is time...

i2m flute and microphones?
Hi I was wondering what type of mic you recommend. I am using a Shure BG5 condensor and the i2M doesn't pick up the softer notes from the flute so the midi output is sometimes a bit sparse. Does the pre amp gain control in the editor affect amplify the signal before pitch to midi conversion? I have ...

Re: Has something gone wrong with my 12M
No! .... I but I think something's going wrong with my brain. Tried the i2M on another mac and worked perfectly. Restarted my mac after a bit of a cleanup and hey presto!. (Dunno why I didn't think of that first, its usually the first thing I do when things are going haywire. My apologies James, but...

Re: Melodic minor scales
Hi James
I'm looking forward to a "custom" scale setup.
I would like to be able to trigger certain notes (from 1 note to all notes ) from the flute. eg. root, 3rd & 5th etc.
Thanks again. The i2M is awesome!

Re: Has something gone wrong with my 12M
Hi James The Desktop Editor seems stable. Does not grey out. Have tried 2 USB cables. I have used the same USB port on my mac to connect a data device, and that works perfectly. I will try the i2M with another computer hopefully today, when I can get access another one. I was wondering about the USB...

Has something gone wrong with my 12M
It has started triggering erratically. Thought it my be my mic, but plugged the 12M into my macbook pro OS 10.6.8 with no input, and put it in Latency Test mode. My cursor became erratic and very hard to maneuver and the sounds triggered in Logic were sometimes spot on sometimes broken up and errati...

Re: Version number
Thanks James. The mac standard is to have the first drop down menu item "About this application" which when clicked gives this relevant information. Perhaps you will consider adding this in the next release. Thanks again.
