Reliability question

OK, not as bad as the title suggests. I'm quite lazy, and having set up my Voluum and Wahoo in a chain before my amp, I have been using both every time I practice, and I practice every day. Am I going to limit the lifespan by doing so? (As an engineer, I know that the answer is 'yes', but it is a mo...

Re: Possibly weird MIDI suggestion

Thanks James. Yes, endless possibilities. So, I could use the WAHOO pedal to the VOLUUM for output (smoothing that out) and via MIDI send back a variation of drive in the WAHOO. I have had thoughts of some extreme Formant vowel sound variations via MIDI inputs ... using the Expression pedal output t...

Possibly weird MIDI suggestion

I had the perverse thought of creating a patch that would allow the drive to be pedal controlled. But looking at the software interface, this isn't (or doesn't appear to be) an option. My idea was to have both drive and output pedal controlled, inversely proportional, so that the overall output rema...

Re: Loose input output jacks

I am rebooting this thread as, having bought my Wahoo in June (it's been in storage for 4 months though, so I've only just got to play with it) I am having exactly the same problem. As previous posts have stated, this is quite disappointing, especially, as I now find, this has been known about for s...

Re: i2M or G2M?

Thanks. OK, big intake of breath - order placed for G2M Wahoo and Voluum. I'll update you on progress. Looking forward to: 1) Adding the Wahoo onto the Sub 37 to add more filtering options and playing around with noise filtering. 2) Using the G2M, if I can, to trigger the Moog whilst using the guita...

G2M on 9V dc (not battery)

Just placed my order for a Wahoo, Voluum and G2M. Thinking of a Pedal Power digital for the pedals, but the other two outputs of the DC brick will also be used (Boss RC2 Looper and Akai Headrush) The Boss RC2 Looper has a slave 9V slave out. I'm planning to use that for the G2M, see any problems? I'...

Wahoo 9V Power Requirements

The case marking is 9V 0.5A Many pedalboard DC 'bricks' rate at 400mA. Would that be insufficient? Others have several outputs that will provide a combined aggregate up to a maximum (of, say, 1.5A). What sort of drain would the Wahoo and Voluum make on the total? Does it vary significantly according...

Re: i2M or G2M?

Now that's the sort of rational thinking I needed! The i2M and the G2M is better than the Kenton. Blinding flash of the obvious. Yep, that works. G2M for now, and i2M if I need it. Thank you for the clear thought. What's pitch bend? I play on 13's. :-) The manual has this on the CC reference ... wou...

Re: i2M or G2M?

I'm going to try piggy backing on this thread. I thought about the i2M to use my guitar to play synths on Propellerheads Reason. No problem, I'm sure, might take some config on midi channels etc, but I'll get there. Then it suddenly occurred to me, that I could use a guitar to control my Moog Sub 37...

Re: Wahoo Phaser Sounds

OK. Thank for your time again (I know it's in your interest, but I still appreciate it). I'm just offloading some stuff on eBay then I'll be in for the two pedals I think.

The i2M will have to wait though. I can't afford the time to start playing with those possibilities.
