i2M bass Notation in Guitar Pro 7

Post by viclobocga »

I am trying to notate bass riffs in Guitar Pro 7 using i2M; I notice that note recognition on tablature is correct on the G String but erratic on the other strings, sometimes notes are one or two octaves lower but not correct. Is there any way I can change the octaves in i2M editor software and also adjust the latency.

Latency depends on what is played (and how it has been played), the i2M always converts as fast as possible, so you can't adjust this.

You can transpose notes in the i2M editor. To minimise latency a useful trick is to play an octave or two higher (latency typically halves for each octave you go up) then use the i2M editor to transpose the notes back to the MIDI notes you want to have.
