B2M Badly needing support

Postby jboatright » Sat Jun 26, 2010 6:05 pm

I have two posts on the site asking for some kind of info on how to use or adjust this unit. So far I have received no response. I am new to this site, so maybe I am in the wrong area. Here is my problem. I purchased a B2M to use with my Peavy Spectrum Bass DPM. All I get is a bunch of wrong notes, fluctuating notes, double notes, most off key, no notes, delayed notes. I was told you have to adjust the B2M unit. I cannot see any place to adjust it. I looks like a simple direct box with a midi outlet. What can I do? Thanks!

Have you looked at the FAQ section on the forum? This has some things you should try.

In particular, you need to make sure the synth is set to use the same pitch-bend range as the B2M. If it's not you will end up with notes that sound very strange and out of tune. See this:

You also need to make sure your playing technique is suitable for MIDI conversion. This FAQ has lots of suggestions for things to do, and why you need to do them:
