hi,
here is my setup:
bass guitar - B2M - Alesis Nanobass Midi module - Markbass powered Amp.

I would like to know how can I bypass my original Bass sound from the Bass Guitar to the Amp when I don't want the sound from the Midi Module.

thanks for help.

The B2M has a THRU connection, so you can connect that to your amp so you can have MIDI and the amp at the same time.

If you want to switch between the MIDI and the amp sounds, you need to use an A/B switch box. There are lots of these available... this is one I just found that's not expensive:

Try something like this:

Bass -> B2M

B2M (MIDI out)-> Alesis Nanobass -> A/B Switch (A connection)

B2M (THRU)-> A/B Switch (B connection)

A/B Switch ("Y" connection which is always connected) -> Powered Amp

So, when you switch the A/B connection, it's switching the input of the amp between the direct bass signal coming through the B2M and the synth bass signal from the Nanobass.

why I have to unplug the bass cable from the B2M and replug in order to activate the B2M after 30 mins of idle?

This is a feature to prolong battery life if you leave it accidentally connected. If there is a signal present (so it generates MIDI notes) it won't turn off.

it would be nice if the B2M can activate when I start playing the bass event after long idle
