Left input focursite itrack solo

Post by AC2N »

Hello from France, sorry for the very bad English.
I bought B2M ipad and unfortunately I have the solo iTrack. Its entrance is on the right (number 2). It does not work, I realized here.
I wonder if an XLR-jack adapter into the left would look better than the microphone input associated with headphones ?
An upcoming update will allow her to choose the input ?

Otherwise it is very promising, just playing acoustic in the ipad micro , thé résult is not bad .

Yes, I think using an XLR to the left input will work.

We are planning an update that will allow input selection to be done.

ok, thank you for the quick reply, I find an adapter and I come here and tell how it works, apartment a few users of this card are in trouble.
I tried plug my stratt with a cable very fine (for hd camera) to the mic / headphone input. it does not work well below the A low, and after few minutes it bug totally full of notes which leave, even if the volume is muted. I guess interference?

There is a problem when you use the mic input. Apple iOS devices have a high-pass filter that rolls off around 200Hz. This means low notes have their level reduced significantly which will cause problems with midi tracking. It's also the same if you try to use a tuner -- you can't accurately tune the lowest notes using the mic input! Higher notes are not a problem.

The only solution for these low notes is to use an input through the dock connector.

We will add something to let you select left/right input to solve this for the iTrack interfaces.
