Hi
I tried using the "update software" option in the musicport application.
After selecting the new .sfu file, the red led on the i2M started flashing, then after a while a message like "no such file or directory", and the 12M musicport app stopped responding and I had to use force quit on my macbook Pro 10.6.8. to get out of it.
I had no trouble using the Sonuus Firmware Updater.
Just a heads up
Thanks
Trouble updating to 1.3.02 using Musicport option
Re: Trouble updating to 1.3.02 using Musicport option
The firmware updater application needs to be in the same folder as the i2M editor, otherwise it can't perform the update. The error message you get is because the firmware updater couldn't be found. We have improved this message for future versions of the editor to make this more obvious.
On Windows, the editor can find the firmware updater once it has been installed, so it doesn't need to be in the same folder as the editor.

Re: Trouble updating to 1.3.02 using Musicport option
I have Windows 7
I placed the 1.03.02 sfu file in the i2m Musicport map.
the software editor I select update firmware (which is 1.0.0.) , navigate to the sfu file
and then...
I have the message : Firmware Update Failed.

Sorry, I hadn't noticed there was a dedicated update-software available.
I installed the updater....
Problem solved
