Logic Pro 8 not recognising i2M Audio Device

Post by PaulK »

I can use the midi input, but not the audio.
i2M does not come up as a device in; Preferences/Audio/ Device.
My Zoom H4n comes up.
OS X 10.6.8 MacBook Pro.
Thanks

I think this is because your version of Logic requires a device to support both input and output before it can be used by Logic. But there is a workaround. Please see this post:

I believe in the latest version of Logic, this isn't a problem and you can select one device as the input and another as the output, just like in GarageBand.

Thanks James
That worked (2nd time I tried). The first time it made my trackpad cursor skittish and other weird stuff.
After a restart and another setup, all seemed to work okay.
