Pedal connector issues

I am thinking about buying a Wahoo, but I am wary given that many reviews state that the pedal connections frequently fail right out of the box. I saw on this board that this has been fixed in more recent production models. However, is there a way (i.e., serial number range) to tell whether the available units are those with the new pedal connector or whether they are the earlier faulty models? Given the cost, I'd much prefer to buy one with confidence that the pedal will work. Or if the connector fails after the initial 1 year warranty expires, will Sonuus still fix the pedal, given that this seems to be a known issue? Thanks for your help.

There have not been that many pedals fail with this problem, a very small percentage of the units shipped. However, if it does fail, we will of course fix it. Even after 1 year.

You can't tell by serial number, but if you buy directly from us (shop.sonuus.com) we can make sure we send you a unit that has the replaced connector on it.
