There is another new Wahoo firmware and editor (currently for beta testing) now available. Please see this forum post for more details and links to the downloads:

I'm kind of assuming this isn't possible but just in case...
I really need a high pass filter - is there any way to get the wahoo to function in that way?
I realise the presets are bandpass / low pass so I imagine not but don't know if there's a workaround.
Is this something that could be added to the functionality of the pedal?

The reason I'm asking is that this appears to be something that might help out with my amplified double bass sound and there don't appear to be any sweepable hpf out there in pedal form. The f-deck is the closest and I hate things which rely
on battery power.

No, it's not possible with the current hardware (how the analogue filters are configured); it only supports band-pass and low-pass.

Because the filters are fully analogue, this can't be updated in firmware (one of the few things we can't tweak!)

I would like to have the LFO fast mode in Wahoo as well :).

The hardware on the Wahoo won't run that fast, so a fast LFO would just have no effect.

Flop54 wrote:Ok thank you! And what about my fist idea? I will try to wake you a clearly explain...I actually understand the problem if both filters are in series but in my other idea you do not use the second filter as a filter but as parameter to vary the position of the filter 1. This means that the position of hi and lo is not important, the path between the lo and hi is used to apply the hi or lo or both. I'm sorry to belabour..

Here is a series of image to show how I would react the wahoo.
The preset would be :

first example:
- The two parameters of the filter 1 undergo a change related to race filter 2

second example:
- Just one filter Lo suffered a change related to race filter 2

Hye James,

What about this idea?

As far as I understand, Flop54 is asking for complex waveforms. His approach is interesting. Complex waveforms could be achieved as well by a dual LFO per filter. The sum of the two waveforms would give varying results of frequency and Q. If any approach will end as an update one day  .

Just a kind reminder for my previous request: Sending and receiving envelope gate information through MIDI between Wahoo and Voluum would be great. Thus, if Voluum is placed after Wahoo, its envelope will listen the input of Wahoo instead of the output of Wahoo.

Hye james

Have you some news about my idea?

I don't think we'll have time to implement this in the Wahoo. It's a lot of work, and may be hard to squeeze it in.

Maybe we can look at this in a future updated Wahoo.
