LIst of Presets

Post by Sarvasaha »

Hi,
Is there a full list of the presets & description somewhere.
I have searched, sorry if I overlooked it.

Would help to be able to go straight to the bass specific presets.

Cheers,
Sarvasaha

In the back of the Wahoo manual there is a list of the categories of presets, but there isn't a list of every individual preset. So, bass envelope is F30-F39 for example.

Using the Wahoo Desktop Editor, you get a menu shown when you select a preset with a long name that describes the preset. This makes it faster to find presets.

We are planning to make a pdf of the preset list with some more details on how the presets are constructed, we've just not had time to do this yet.

G'day all,

I've got a set of screen shots with the list of presets that I pulled together for my own benefit - perhaps it helps others as well? It's a pdf document but the forum won't let me upload in that format. PM me your email address if you want to copy and I'll email to you.

Perhaps an administrator can post it and make available to everyone else?

Peace,

Matt

Matt, I've enabled posting of pdfs. So please upload this to the forum. Maybe I can also put it onto the main web site so users can find this. Thanks.

Any chance there will be a demo (audio) of all the presets? I would really like to hear an example of all of them. Demos like that have been done before, for other competing products, so it's not so unreasonable to ask.

It's unlikely there will be a demo of all the presets. Instead we've tried to give examples of the different types of presets. There are 10 types of presets with 10 presets within each type. And how each preset sounds depends on what riffs you play, or at what tempo you run the LFOs, so you only get a small snapshop of each preset's possibilities. Moreover, all of the presets are only a small fraction of all the possible sounds you can make with the Wahoo.

Other "competing" products can do demos of the full spectrum of sounds they can produce because they are more limited in the range of sounds they can create.

To really explore the sounds, it's best to try one if possible and spend some time with it.
