please help, adapt to two channels app, digital input

Post by apm7 »

Hi,i'm a user from china and i find this application very useful for music composing and perform :D
It works fine with irig, ;)
but for more sensitivity and high audio quality(for performance),i usually connect my ipad to itrack solo, the instrument input is in the right channel(digital input),
so it can't find the audio input and don't work. :?
could you tell me how to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot.

You are correct, the app currently only opens a mono input, so usually on two-channel inputs this is the left input. We will look at adding an option to open two channels and allow selection of which channel is the input.

There is no need for a noise gate, or sensitivity. This is automatically adjusted when you play, so it is continually adapting to what you play to balance the sensitivity. If you want to reject low-level notes you can do this using the "velocity filter". Notes below the velocity (level) you set will then be ignored.

A tip: if the automatic sensitivity doesn't seem correct. Turn the "power" of the app off then back on (using the power button icon) and that will reset the sensitivity.
