How to disable the pulsing metering for the LFO

Post by buddy »

Hello Together,

is it possible to disable the pulsing metering for the LFO Trem effect,
because this costs a lot of battery power.

Regards

You can't disable the LED metering for the LFO (and the same meter is used for the volume level - it gives you a combined indication of current "level").

However, the metering for the LFO doesn't consume much power. The analogue circuitry itself consumes a lot of power, and the other LEDs (the 7-segment display in particular) consumes more power. You can reduce power consumption by reducing the brightness of all the LEDs (custom settings, "LED"). You an also use "power save mode" which turns off the LEDs when the effect is not active, and this can help prolong battery life when the Voluum isn't being used, but it does keep all the analogue circuitry powered so it's ready to be used.
