G2M-U
Re: G2M-U
Do you mean by using a MIDI-to-USB adapter?
This isn't possible inside the G2M because the hardware doesn't support USB.
Our i2M musicport does the same as the G2M but has a dedicated USB output (no 5-pin MIDI output, though).

Re: G2M-U
The Sonuus i2M musicport will connect to an iPad USB interface (using Apple's Camera Connection Kit).
Watch this video and it shows how it is done:

It doesn't work on other iOS devices (iPhone, iPod) because Apple doesn't support USB on these devices for some reason.

So a MIDI-to-USB adapter is useless to me then? Is there anything that will work to let me record on a computer that doesn't have a MIDI input built in?james wrote:Do you mean by using a MIDI-to-USB adapter?

Re: G2M-U
You can use a USB-MIDI adapter to connect the G2M to a computer via USB.
This was referring to adding a USB connection to the G2M hardware, which currently isn't possible. This isn't possible inside the G2M because the hardware doesn't support USB.

Re: G2M-U
Okay, thanks for clarifying. People on another forum have suggested that the problem is probably with the specific adapter that I got (one of the $5 ones on Amazon), so now I just need a way to verify that and then replace it...
