G2M V3 with non standard guitar/bass tunning

Post by TheDecibelMan »

Hi!
I'm considering a purchase of your G2M V3 product.
Yet just to be 100% sure if it will work fine I would like to ask if it supports other tunings than standard when used with guitar and bass.
To be more specific I use drop C# and sometimes even drop C tuning for 4 string bass and 6 string guitar.
Will it work?

Cheers!

Alternate tunings are not a problem. And there is a lot of low-end range, so drop C isn't a problem.

The standard tunings that the G2M uses only matters for the built-in tuner (the power LED pulses like a strobe tuner). For MIDI conversion, the G2M doesn't know about the tuning of the instrument. All that matters is the instruments are tuned to a 440Hz reference pitch, and intonation is good (otherwise pitch-bend will not be correct).
