Which MIDI-USB interface would you recommend for connecting to a Windows (XP) notebook (with Steinberg Sequel 2), from this list - http://www.thomann.de/gb/midi_interfaces.html - for example.

Most USB-MIDI interfaces should work just fine since the G2M is fully MIDI compatible. We have tried a few different interfaces and they work great:
CME U2MIDI, M-Audio MIDISport 1x1 and a 1x1 Edirol interface (I can't remember the model number).
You might also want to consider if any of the following are important to you which may sway your decision:
(1) Do you want (or not want) to install drivers? Not all are USB-MIDI class-compliant so require their own drivers to work.
(2) Do you want multi-client support? The Windows class drivers don't support multi-client operation, so only some interfaces will give you this feature with their own drivers.
