G2M as midi input for virtual sampler?

hi,

Can i use G2M as midi input for virtual sampler software like Mellosoftron III (by Polyhedric Software) ? (i'll need to connect G2M Midi Out to my computer's USB port using USB-Midi interface cable).

Please advise!

Yes this should work. We've not tried Mellosoftron III but as long as it responds to MIDI on channel 1 it should work just fine. As you mention, you just need to connect the G2M to your computer with a USB MIDI cable.

Can you download a free trail Mellosoftron III from http://www.polyhedric.com to confirm? i just don't want to buy something which is not working for me.
Perhaps this will also clarify to all others who intended but hesitate to buy.
