If I'm hooking up the G2M to a multi-timbral synth/module (16 channels) and using most of those channels already (lets say for live use), does the G2M default to channel 1? Or how does assignment work?
What about using TWO G2M's going to the same multi-timbral source (vox & guitar)? Possible?

The G2M transmits on channel 1 and in this model it is not possible to change it. In order to use two G2Ms with a single multitimbral unit you would need to use something to modify the second MIDI channel. There are various methods to do this, both via hardware or software products.
