G2M with Rock Band 3?

Anyone know whether the G2M will enable me to use my guitar with Rock Band 3 on the PS3? The Squier MIDI guitar is not out until March and costs a bundle. This would be a great solution! (And I'm not even asking for royalties if you use this question as an idea for a marketing campaign)

I have tried and Seem like it is not working in guitar mode. The rock band midi adapter show S.O.S signal as mentioned in the following like:

BTW did G2M send out Active Sense message?
