Hi,

just wanted to know how a 7 string guitar tuned to standard or E flat would fair in respect to the tracking of the notes with your G2M device, so notes would be from low to high Bb,Eb,Ab,Db,Gb,Bb,Eb, also how would other tunings on acoustic guitar or electric guitar fair? 6 string tuned to E flat? Drop D tuning, Drop C tuning, obviously a lot of bands now use alternate tunings rather than standard, will you be catering for this market in the future or does the device already achieve these tunings?

The G2M will work with drop-tunings as long as its not dropped to far. e.g., 2 semitones should be ok (D2 is the lowest note). Below this, the lowest notes may get lost.

On the 7-string, The low Bb will cause problems because it won't get that low.

The tuner in the G2M only works with standard tuning EADGBE. But, you can use another tuner for drop-tuning and as long as you're in tune it should work fine.

how about using the B2M for a 7 string guitar, would this pickup the Low B string to the high E string?
Would you be able to show me any testing videos which demo this please?

The B2M will work great on the lowest notes, but it won't cover the top octave (E5 - E6).

If it does then it is instantly dead without rolling a dice... automatic hit

We are looking into extending the detection range in future products to cover 7-string guitar tuned to E flat, without compromising the higher range.
