I tune my guitar to flat a semitone, will this be a problem?

I like using 11 gauge strings and tuning my guitar flat (i.e. Eflat instead of E etc. etc,) Do I have to go back to standard tuning for this to work properly?

No, it's not a problem at all. The i2M will correctly detect the detuned notes. The i2M will always convert the note frequency to a corresponding MIDI note of the same frequency.
