Note Extend

Is the max allowed by the midi spec 996ms or can this be extended? Would help me a lot and save messing around with Hold on/off messages as described in my "Hold" post

Note extend is not part of the MIDI Spec. The limit is just to do with the way things are stored in the i2M.

We are looking at making this support an "infinite" note extend controlled by the sustain pedal controller (or whichever controller you configure it to use) which will hopefully help you do things that can't be done with the hold feature. Then zones can be controlled with either hold or sustain, depending on what you require.
