I agree that a tuner like this would be useful. We'll have to see if we can reinstate the pitch-tracking in the firmware. Once that's done, a tuner should be relatively simply to add.

The phase problem (MIDI SPP + LFO phase) is the next thing to be looked at. It's just been so busy the last few months -- we have lots to get ready for the big music show in LA next month.

MIDI Sync has been improved, and control of phase has been added.

This is in a beta-test firmware/editor. See this post:

The same improvements have been added to the Wahoo. Please see this post:

I'd like to add another suggestion, which I don't think has been mentioned yet(?). The curve control of the volume section is useful, to be linear or weighted in different ways. Would it be possible to apply a similar setting to the pedal control of the LFO? For instance, say I want to have a tremolo that speeds up as the pedal goes toward the toe, but I want it to be a ramp up with an exponential curve.

And also I agree with the suggestion that it would be great if changes to the bypass and pedal on/off settings could be applied to specific presets, as some of the presets I've made really want toe off, but for others that makes an unsmooth transition.

Thanks!

Adding curves to the pedal when it's controlling other effects (e.g., LFO) is a good idea. I've added it to the list and we will investigate.

We have now added a tuner to the Voluum :D

And this is no ordinary tuner. It's super fast, lets you tune to 0.1cent precision and can easily tune a low-B on a bass; something most guitar tuners struggle to do.

Here's a quick promo video showing it off: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_pHlGCKyd4

Get the latest firmware for the Voluum (version 1.3.0) here: http://www.sonuus.com/software.html

Hi James,

Do you have any plan to improve the envelope tracking / note retriggering of the Voluum? Sometimes I feel that it is not fast enough or it is not correct. For instance, when I use "staccato" adsr settings like Sonuus Phone preset, I need to play slowly in order to not miss a note, and this limits my playing.

Thanks :ugeek:
