Any idea what this FX is? I'm thinking now it's an analogue delay with the speed being tweaked, but some bits at 4.35 and later sound like filter:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R850Ie1 ... be&t=4m18s

I don't know, but I've posted the question on our social media to see if anyone else does.

Cheers! I've found it on some analogue pedals, but not all. It seems to be how fast the 'speed' control adjusts the 'actual' speed/delay. If there's enough lag it acts like a tape varispeed 'in motion' and speeding up sounds much like a filter opening with more HF content eventually and more LF content when slowed, similar to a VCF but with added acelerando/decelerando repeats. I think it could be done on a digital delay if that 'lag' is engineered in.
