Is it possible to send MIDI messages from the Voluum to the Wahoo by a USB cable placed between the two units ?

You can't directly connect the Voluum and Wahoo using USB -- they are both USB "devices" and USB requires a "Host" for the communication.
You can use MIDI instead, but you need the Wahoo connected via USB to do that. There are two options: (1) Connect through a computer; (2) Use a hardware "USB host" like this one from Kenton (http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/ ... host.shtml)
In the case of (2), The Voluum's MIDI connects to the Kenton, and the Kenton connects to the Wahoo's USB.
