Effect On when power on the pedal

Is it possible to have the FX on when I switch on my whaoo? It's in a rack with a looper, now, and it's not easy to access to the switch.

Yes, this is possible.

Set "pedal effect enable" to "On/Off heel". If the pedal is in the toe-down position, it will automatically activate when the power is applied.

You can also send a MIDI controller (over USB) to remotely control the footswitch and so turn the effect on an off.

I think I don't do correcty the settings of my Wahoo. I've set the channel MIDI, and it's working.
I've set that wahoo (in each preset i use) it controlled by midi expression pedal.
I've set in midi preferences that control 11 is used for expression pedal.
I've set in setup preference that "pedal effect enable" is "on/off (heel)"
But when I move my expression pedal, my wahoo receives the control, but switchs on/ off on/off on/off... It's horrible! And when I set "disabled", it's the same thing...
Where is my mistake?

What is "footswitch controller" set to in the Wahoo MIDI settings? I am wondering if this is receiving a MIDI controller and turning the effect on and off.

I believe it should work as you want it to.

If you can't solve it, send me a "all" file from the Wahoo, by selecting "Save All" from the midi or setup pages. I will try to replicate what you are doing.

"Footswitch controller" is set to CC 11:Expression. I will try this afternoon to solve my "problem". If I can't, I will send you a "Save File" of my wahoo.

Ok, there's something new: CC11 put wahoo FX Off wtih value 1-63. and on with value 64-127. When on, of course FX "wah" is audible with modulation.
How can I send you the file of my save?

Sorry for the late reply. I missed your posts (lost emails or something).

I have checked your file and the problem is that "Footswitch controller" is set to CC 11:Expression. So when you send expression pedal it controls both the expression AND the footswitch and turns the Wahoo on and off.

Change "footswitch controller" to something else (I put 4:Foot pedal) and now it seems ok.

See attached Wahoo.wahoo_all file with this change.

Note for myself: never again think that "footswitch controller" is like "expression pedal"
