My foootswitch is broken too!!!

Hi,
home use, new, footswitch no longer works. No click response either. Tried your previous test mode, all the other switches returned the correct value, but footswitch blank.
It is not a issue of wires since footswtch clicked before but does not now. I presume as it is new there is some waranty for faulty parts? Please advise.
