If you go to Windows Device Manager, with the Voluum connected, do you see any devices listed that could be the Voluum? It could even show as a failed device (yellow exclamation mark icon).

Is the Voluum connected directly to the PC. Is the Voluum USB powered -- if so is there enough current to power the Voluum?

It could be a driver problem. As a general fix for USB devices in Windows: in Device manager right-click the device (assuming it is showing) and select Remove Device. Select "also delete drivers" if this is available. Unplug and reconnect your device (the Voluum) and Windows should reinstall the drivers and it should then work. Sometimes, you need to reboot after deleting the drivers, before re-connecting the Voluum.

Also, new firmware has been released for the Voluum (non-beta). Maybe try this to see if it makes any difference.

Problem solved with external power, maybe with new firmware needs more power than usb. Thank you

That's good.

The new firmware shouldn't affect the power required (not significantly anyway). Perhaps your settings (LED brightness?) got changed in the update?
