Usb connector broken

Hi there,

since when I bought my unit, I experienced occasional errors in linux, interrupting live play, and often requiring reboot, visibile in syslog as

retire_capture_urb: 21 callbacks suppressed
usb 1-1: urb status -32

I was lazy in investigating the problem further, I thought it was linux and I had to investigate, but recently these became more frequent and I found out it's the usb connector of the unit which fails, more and more often. I can see this since if I shake the unit while playing the problem immediately appear, and finally I got out of laziness and found out that I have the same problem on a windows machine, and that moving the usb cable the connector moves, immediately triggering the fault. I bought the product in Italy in February 2014, and do not want to lose it, since it's fantastic. Is there any hope to repair it or to get it replaced?

I assume you have tried a different USB cable?

When you plug it in, does the light on the i2M stay red?
