Hi there,
I'm looking for a super flexible pedal and the Voluum seems to be very versatile!
However, I am missing info about two things:
W/o any input signal, can it be used as an expression pedal, e.g. for EHX effect pedals?
What is the impedance of the output? And what is the voltage range - could it be used as a CV source for CV inputs of synths? (again, with no input signal provided)
If this is not possible yet, maybe an option for the future?
There is a competitor with those options, but w/o the compressor (still with LFO and Gate), that's why I ask.
Thanks and kind regards,
CaB
Q: acting as Expression pedal and/or CV out
Re: Q: acting as Expression pedal and/or CV out
Hi,
The Voluum will work as a MIDI expression pedal, it doesn't have an "expression" jack output. The output is audio only, so there is no way it can generate CV directly.
This could be possible on a future product, but the current hardware has no provision to do this (so can't be done via a firmware upgrade).

Re: Q: acting as Expression pedal and/or CV out
Thank you James.
Guess we have wait for that killer pedal that does it all 8)
I really dig the design and technology of Voluum and Wahoo. But buying those two AND e.g. the Source Audio Reflex would render many musicians broke... ×)
EDIT: not true, the Sonuus bundle option allowed me to buy the pair - Yahoo err Wahoo!
