It would be helpful for me if the bypass (effect on/off) could be controlled with midi. Unfortunately, the on/off state of the "effect" knob in the editor can not be saved in a preset.
Or is it possible to save a neutral preset that does not affect the sound?

You can set a MIDI controller for the "footswitch controller" in the editor. This will let you remotely enable and disable (bypass) the effect by MIDI.
