Random notes generated from the music port.

Post by dmcmasters »

I am experiencing random, greater than an octave tone jumps with the device. I've tried tuning with the available options in the edit software, but nothing seems to correct his behavior Has anyone else experienced this and figured out a fix for it? I am on the latest firmware.

Update. Though the incidents are seemingly random, the interval of the jump always seems to be an octave plus a fourth. For example G5 becomes D7, A5 becomes E7 and so on. And most of the time the correct not plays briefly and then the jump occurs. This is using a harmonica.

Thanks

Hi Dennis,

Can you record some audio from your harmonica directly, using the i2M. If you can send me the recording (preferably in WAV format) I'll have a look at it and may have some suggestions. Ideally, record audio that is showing these problems in the MIDI conversion so you can tell me exactly where it does wrong to make it easier for me to check it.

I'll send you a PM with me email address so you can email me the file if you want to do this.
