My friend wants to purchase and use the G2M with his vibraphones or Marimbas. They have a very clean sound. Played through a good microphone, will this system work? He also plays trumpet and flugelhorn. If we roll the treble off to reduce harmonics, can this work? Also, what may be the advantage of your G2M compared to any competitors? Are there any competitors? Thank you.

We have not tried with vibraphones or marimbas, but I would expect it to work very well because the tones are very pure from these instruments.
We are looking to investigate the response with brass instruments, but have not done that yet. Depending on the note range, the B2M may be a better option because it filters the higher harmonics more than the G2M.
The only alternatives are guitar-focussed products from Axon and Roland, but these require hex pickups and are expensive.
