Can B2M be used to trigger drum sounds?

I have been trying to figure out a way to trigger my midi drum module using minimal gear. I had thought about putting triggers on my bass guitar body but I really don't want extra cables coming off my bass guitar.
I am wondering if the sonuus will track well enough to pick up the signal to trigger the drum module.

Will the sonuus work for this application?
Has anyone tried this?

I am working with a loop machine and want to lay down a drum track and play over it. If this works then I can do everything with my bass and a mic.

The B2M will work well to trigger drums. I've done it before, and it's pretty good fun.
