If you need to return anything, it must be returned to the retailed from where you purchased it. They will deal with warranty replacements.

Does it mean one can get his money back, by returning the unit when still under waranty?

Whether you can get your money back depends on the terms and conditions of the retailer where you bought the product, so you need to check with them directly. If the unit is defective, there should be no problem. If it's working correctly, but just not suitable for your needs, you may get a refund if it's returned quickly, but not all retailers operate a no-quibble refund policy.
