connected to a micro-Korg vocoder as on instructions. Tried midi in, out and thu; g2m thru to marshall input. Midi light flashes, no synth sounds occur when I play, only guitar sound comes out. I'm feeling Duh!!!

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
I checked the microKorg manual (
http://www.korg.co.uk/downloads/microko ... Manual.pdf) and it looks like it should work. You need to ensure that it's set to receive on MIDI channel 1. This setting is described on p.49 under "MIDI-related settings".
