Can the i2M be used uniquely as an audio interface with Logic 9?

Re: audio without midi
Yes, the i2M can be used as an audio interface with Logic 9. However, it only has an input (there is no output). But you can setup what Apple calls an "Aggregate Device" and use the i2M as the input device, and another device (such as built-in audio) as the output device.
You can do the same thing in Garage Band too, which automatically supports different input and output devices without having to create an aggregate device. So you can use the i2M as a quick way to connect guitar and other instruments using it's Hi-Z input preamp and built-in audio as the output -- we use this setup at trade show demos.
