How do I make all notes same volume? (100)

Or how do I lessen the increments of midi note volumes (to say 90-100-110 for soft medium loud)

My problem is some are whisper quiet, and some blare out.

Currently, there are only two ways to do this: (1) play all notes at a consistent level; (2) use a setting in your synth/sequencer to limit the velocity to the values you want.

We are currently working on a firmware update which will add velocity curves. This will allow various degrees of "compression" to help even-out the velocity variations, while still allowing some variation to take place so it still sounds natural. In the most extreme setting, velocities of 32 and above will be mapped to velocities of between 96-127 (approximately). Velocities below 32 will be mapped to 1-96.

Do you think this will be enough for what you are trying to do?

FYI: a new firmware (1.2.00) has been released today which includes the ability to apply a curve to the MIDI velocity, so you can add a compressor-like curve to give you louder notes more of the time. See this post for more details on the update:
