i2M sound of guitar

just got the i2M so i am not sure if i have set it up correctly. my issue is that when i use the guitar to trigger a sample i hear both the sound of the sample and also the sound of the clean guitar over the speakers. how can i disable the guitar sound so i can only hear the samples over the speakers? thanks.

i am using windows 7, ableton live 8 and kontakt 4.

Are you using the i2M's ASIO driver? This has an option to monitor the clean input signal. Maybe that has been turned on? You can access this via the ASIO control panel, which is opened via your other software (live, kontakt, etc).
